My Story
Twelve years ago, I was VP of a $120M division and we were the largest profit contributor to the overall company. Thus I got a lot of attention from the Executive Team. This pressure caused me to focus the majority of my time on work. I started skipping the gym, my quiet time, hanging out with friends, and even time with the family.
I knew there had to be a better way. I hired an Executive Coach and it changed my life.
Yes, that sounds extreme, but it did change my life because that is what I now do for a living.
But it also changed my life, because I was able to zoom out and see that life was more than just a clean email inbox or a beautiful P&L. Yes, those items have their importance, but so was being a spouse, parent, friend, and leader.
As I was receiving coaching, I was sharing it with my direct reports. As they got better holistically and our company profitability improved, I knew I wanted to do this for a living.
So in 2016, I started to do coaching part-time. Over the course of a few years, thanks to God’s provision, was able to get it to a full-time job.
Since 2020, I have been coaching and speaking full-time. During that time, I have worked with 180+ leaders in 1:1 coaching or small group coaching settings to help them win at home and work.
